Club Orange Brand Identity: A Vibrant Revival of Ireland’s Iconic Drink

Club Orange has been quenching Irish thirst for nearly a century, becoming a treasured icon in homes and shops across the country. From 2013 to 2021, I was privileged to be among the few designers entrusted with refreshing this heritage brand—an opportunity that involved balancing its storied past with a bold, modern flair.

Central to this redesign was the reintroduction of its original 1930s orange identity, a vibrant aesthetic that paid homage to the drink’s earliest roots. By blending vintage cues with contemporary design elements, the brand recaptured the sense of nostalgia beloved by loyal fans, while simultaneously attracting a new generation of Club Orange enthusiasts. Subtle tweaks to typography, logos, and packaging ensured it remained fresh and instantly recognisable on busy shelves.

A key innovation that set this project apart was my use of Cinema 4D to create product visualisations—a forward-thinking strategy at the time, now considered standard practice in the industry. This immersive 3D approach vividly brought the brand’s story to life, reinforcing its position as an iconic Irish drink for generations to come. Through this carefully orchestrated blend of tradition, technology, and creative foresight, Club Orange’s vibrant character continues to shine, as bright and effervescent as ever.
